
Here's an additional view of the 1920s-40s red-green traffic light as used in New York City, this time with daytime ambient light for the "on the street" look. I wish I could get this thing suspended on a short arm, but I don't have a place in my apartment to mount such a set-up. It probably weighs 80+ pounds. Another complication is that the original mast arm end is still frozen inside the mounting elbow at the top. If I really wanted to remove that, I should have done so before painting it, I suppose.
