Yesterday we went to a beautiful old farm for family pics and when I pulled up I knew there was something here for me:) it was like a magnetism almost a feeling that something pulled me there. We walked all around the property taking pics amongst the wild flowers and the whole time I'm staring at this old barn on the property so when we started taking pics near it I walked on over to where the tractors were parked on the right side of the barn and scanned the area with precision. I wanted to walk to the left side but there were people taking pics and I didn't want to walk through their photos. We then walked across the property where there was a cut down tree and took a lot of photos there, My wife wanted to get photos by the grape vines of just the two of us,it was by the left side of the barn so I said sure why not. I hurried over there to take s quick peek he had license plates on the barn side from the fifties all Wisconsin. My mother caught me staring utt ohh Treys found something. Then my wife said come over and let's take pics, after pics I rushed back over scanning the area looking at an old Datsun pickup he had just like the one we used to have on our farm in the 70's and then there it was peaking out from underneath the sand one corner of it and I pounced and grabed it and lifted it out of its sandy grave, with my wife scolding me like a child with his hand in the cookie jar put that down don't mess with this mans stuff LOL. I asked the photographer who is the owner ,is he home I was excited to say the least. So she told me his name I wrote a quick note and put it on his screen door and as I was walking away he pulled into his garage I was pumped up. I walked up to him starting off by telling him how beautiful his farm was and I asked him about the sign and he said yeah you can have it. I was so shocked it's rare anyone gives you anything. He said it had been in that same spot for 50 years and it was there when he got the property 50 years ago. I told him I'd take s pic of it once I got it cleaned and hung up. I think I will bring it out next year and use it in our family photos:) It cleaned up beautifully, I couldn't believe how good it cleaned up. The before pics are the last 2 you can tell on the closeup of her face I kind of wiped the dirt smudges of her face.
