Bought this sign a few months ago at a live auction.

It is porcelain on steel with wood frame.

Listed are many of NYC's most famous sites; Grand Central Station, Penn Station, Times Square, South Ferry, Bronx Park, & others.

The sign measures (with frame): 68" L x 6" W x 32" H

Did some research based on materials, color, font, etc and I figure it is likely from 149th St/Grand Concourse Station and circa 1940 after NYCTA took over subway lines.

This sign hung inside the station until the modern signs were introduced in 1960s.

I am really interested in finding a picture of a sign like this hanging in the station.

If you have any other information about this sign, I would love to hear your comments.
