Warning signs are clearly posted at the E runway in St. Maarten but people still hang onto the fence while jets rev-up & takeoff. Cars are sometimes blown across the beach into the ocean & personal injuries are common. More than one has had to be medi-vaced out.
For those who want to come down & try this "sport", afternoons after 2: & the 747's are best/worst.
