Super cool old embossed metal "Northwest" Sign, measuring 46" long x 9.5" tall. The metal feels like maybe steel, and definitely has some character. I feel it is safe to assume that this piece is transportation related, but I would love to know more information if anyone knows. I am guessing it is maybe railroad related, or maybe from a bigger road intersection? The "W" has an embossed dot above it, which is also unique. Maybe from another country?And this sign was found in an antique shop in the middle of Eastern Washington. I most likely will be keeping this piece, being that we live in the Northwest, but I like to be able tell visitors to our home more of a story about it! So it can't be displayed until I know more....
