I just got this Porcelain Dutch Boy Multi-piece sign. It is AMAZING! I am guessing that it is from the thirties but maybe before, or into the fourties. There are no maker markings so I don't know what year it was made. Would anyone know about when it is from? If you might know contact me at bigdaddydave at man-cave-shoppe dot com for a email and don't forget the dashes.
It is a little under 12 feet long and almost 4 feet tall at the center section and it has 2 parts that stick out from the sign about 4 inches for the bottom pieces and 2 inches for the red lettering.
There are a total of 7 different porcelained pieces that are held together by factory bolts, brackets to hold the 3D pieces and metal frame pieces in the back.
Condition is probably a solid 8 out of 10. There are some chips in the red lettering and in a very few places on the white back field. The blue and white bottom seems to have no chipping nor does the center section where the boy is pictured.
I am gently cleaning it and will be waxing it and looking at it with a smile!
