Jackie Robinson Parkway memorial sign. From Brooklyn/Queens, N.Y.
Originally named the Interboro Parkway, the road was renamed in 1997 in honor of the late Brooklyn Dodgers baseball player, Jackie Robinson.
The sign was produced in the George Pataki (New York governor) and Rudolph Giuliani (New York City mayor) era.
