I got this from a local Gas station/ Bar owner that has owned the building since the 30's , It was a Bar/with Gas pumps out in front of bar. It was destroyed in a huge flood we had in 1964, but she had this sign still in a storage building on the property, She told me the reason the bullet dings were in the sign is because she had a rowdy customer that shot the sign one night after a few too many drinks in the bar, She is 94 years old now, but was the bartender in this bar until it closed in 1964. A really neat piece of history rescued.
