In keeping with my recent theme of rehab'ing rough, low cost Coca-Cola signs, I obtained this 20"x36" insert with original frame for $50 delivered as a result of an eBay bid auction.
I soaked this one pretty good while wiping down with warm water and paper towels. Doing so removed a fair amount of dirt/smoke/foxing and also served to even out the warped cardboard. It looked pretty ugly when I finished, but I was surprised an hour later that it dried up as well as it did.
No home run this time. But hitting singles keeps the batting average high while collecting old, authentic Coca-Cola ad pieces.
