8 3/4" cast iron advertising sign that probably was mounted on a completed fence. "The Buckeye Fence", December 1889 is on the sign. Mast, Foos, & Company, Springfield, Ohio. Image is deceiving at first glance. What looks like a slot screw head is actually the deer's nose and mouth.
