It's official. I LOVE Craigslist! Saw this sign advertised last night. The guy said it was single sided. Did some research as to what the signs are going for. Let him know what I found out and he dropped his price drastically. Went out and got it this morning. When I got there, found out it actually is double sided, which was obvious. Someone who had it before him painted over it to use as their pecan advertising sign. It's porcelain and is a heavy one. Probably at least 50 pounds. Measures 70" x 46". Can anyone tell me the timeframe of this?

Found in barn project early 20th century approx 9"x10". Found in Susquehanna valley made from tin. That is the only information I have on the sign.

One Mor Soda Sign

I picked this beautiful sign up at an antique store in TX.
I believe this soda was from the Pennsylvania area bottled by Ma's Root Beer. No other info. I have been collecting a while and have never seen this sign before. If anyone has info, please post. Thanks!

I got these two Nosegay Tobacco tin signs this week. I believe them to be 1920s. They are not in the greatest shape but most of my 90+ yr old people I know are not either! Damaged/rusty or not I think they are cool! Made by the Toscarora Advertising company of Coshocton Ohio. One sign is more rusty, the other has been creased/bent. I havent tried to clean them up at all yet, kind of like the rust on these

This old crossing gaurd hand held sign is not in great shape but I think it is cool. It is made of fiberboard and shows some age. Have it hanging on a wall in the man cave. Havent tried to clean it up at all, am afraid that the finish would come off if I try to do anything with it

Owner of the bike shop in California moved to Lincoln NE. An auction was being held for his bone shaker bike and I ended up with this. Two sided wooden sign with gold leaf painted letters that are extended out and angled toward the sidewalk below.

At one time two of the largest telephone companies providing telephone service in the U.S. The creeds are after the same purpose, but the wording is different. In 1937 W.T. Wooters a Pennsylvania Bell Telephone Co. general plant manager was giving a safety meeting to his
district plant superintendents. One of his most memorable contributions to telephone service was his safety creed, "No job is so important and no service is so urgent-that we cannot take time to perform our work safely"
In 1939 after a little rephasing it became the AT&T Bell System safety creed. The General System creed came a standard around 1957.

Old sign

This has been with my family for as long as I can remember....I seem to remember being told it came from Cripple Creek, Colorado but not sure. just want to find out anything about it. heavy metal frame,glass face and was obviously a business sign, on the reverse appears what would have been a matching face now gone but two spots for light bulbs are present and would be no problem to rewire and light back back up.
any info would be great.

I'm Interested in getting this sign but I have never bought a sign this big. It is a 3 foot by 6 foot sign. It has the original wood frame around it and is dated 1940 by MCA. I Have no idea how much a sign that big is valued at? Any help would be great!!! Thanks!!

I just got this off E-Bay on a "make offer" type deal. It's 10"x 14" Embossed Tacker sign and say's A-126 and made by "The Parker Metal Dec. Co. Balto. Md." No Date on it. I thought it would clean up better but the paper thats stuck too it did damage to the paint and stained it. I used hot water and nylon brush but the paint that was damaged started coming off, so I quit. I'm dissapointed that it didnt clean up better but we learn as we go, I still like it. enjoy.

1930's White Gold Pure Sugar Cane porcelain sign hanging in the nook off of the kitchen. It's the only one known to exist, it was removed from a building in downtown Anderson, Indiana. The sign is 4 feet wide and 5 1/2 feet tall, I put white wood trim around the sign to match the rest of the trim in the house. This is the crown jewel of signs in my home. Thanks for looking!

Just got back today from a trip up home to PA. Of course I had to go junkin' while I was up there. Got this fantastic United States Savings Stamps sign in great condition. Unfortunately, the wording on the bottom, right corner got hit by the rust bug. I've been looking online but can't find much about this sign. I've seen one other one but a different design that said they're from the WWII era. Anyone know for sure when it might be from? Measures 3 ft. by 4 ft.

Up around the area where I grew up in PA, the railroad is huge. So when I saw this sign, I had to have it. It's not old, but the CONRAIL railroad association of where I grew up made it collectible to me. The trains are still a huge part of that area. Measures 24" by 18".

Is a tin sign I found while renovating a barn that's construction dates back about 100 yrs. is approx 9x11.5" in dimension. Posted it on this website a week or so ago and received no feedback, am curious. Was a project in Lancaster pa. If that helps. Will appreciate any knowledge since I have been unable to find any information online, thanks.
